ruby-algorithm-diff software package provides Ruby conversion of the Perls Algorithm::Diff, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ruby-algorithm-diff
ruby-algorithm-diff is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ruby-algorithm-diff package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ruby-algorithm-diff *
You will get with ruby-algorithm-diff package name, version, architecture and description in a table
